Visa Information

 Visa Information for Immigrants

If you are an immigrant looking to make Dayton your home, you have two main paths to choose from: a non-immigrant and an immigrant path.  Each one of these paths has a list of visa categories and its basic requirements.

Please visit the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services web site at www.uscis.gov to determine which visa category applies to your circumstances and will best meet your needs.  This website has detailed information about specific visa categories and their application processes.

If you are already in the United States and/or in the city of Dayton and have questions regarding immigration issues, you may contact either the Dayton Bar Association, Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE) or any local immigration attorney.  Click here for a list of legal service providers. For convenience, you will find a list of some contacts located in our directory; however, the following list is not exhaustive and is intended only for informational purposes.  The Welcome Dayton initiative does not endorse or recommend any private attorneys.  Also below are links to other helpful websites.
